9. FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Please note that we may take video or photographs within your session for use on our social media, website or marketing materials. If you do not wish for this to be shared, or your identifiable features shows (name, face) then please make it known in private to the Office Manager. We may also ask you for face to face content and permission – permission will be asked for this.
As clients of The Pilates Pod and teachers providing a service on behalf of The Pilates Pod, all communication between clients and teachers must be engaged through the business.
The business, teachers, and clients all abide by the protection and confidentiality of private information in accordance with GDPR. A breach of confidentiality occurs when information is disclosed, shared, or communicated directly between client and teachers, through private means, without written consent by the business. This includes communication through means of private social media, personal telephone numbers, personal emails and direct discussion in person.
15. Closed Circuit TV CCTV
Closed circuit TV Cameras (CCTV) are in use within the Reception and Studio areas at The Pilates Pod studio. Recorded images are held securely on file for a period of six months. CCTV Cameras are in use to protect our Staff, and Studio equipment, and recordings may be shared with relevant authorities such as the Police, Courts or our own legal representives in the event that are crime or dispute takes place. Footage is retained for a period of 31 days.
